Picture report of the Benelux Amiga show 2003 (9-Oct-2003)  Popular
(Read 7419 times)
On the 4th and 5th of October 2003 I attended the second Benelux Amiga Show (BAS) in Rotterdam. At the first BAS event held in the year 2001 the initial AmigaOS4.0 and PPC hardware plans were presented by Amiga Inc, Haage&Partner, Hyperion and Escena to the public. These last two years we hower saw some changes, for instance the management of the OS project is now managed by Hyperion instead of by Haage&Partner and Mai Logic's hardware designs replaced Escena's.

Today G3/G4 AmigaOne hardware is available in quantity at many dealers across the globe and the development of AmigaOS4 is now undergoing beta-testing on the Cyberstorm PPC and an alpha version was recently demoed running on AmigaOne hardware for the first time. Many ?AmigaOS4 events? have been held all across the world these last few months, but especially in Europe. This time I took a professional photographer with me to allow me to talk to various people myself and test AmigaOS4 more extensively.
