Description: Not very good quality, but anyway... it would be simply incredible to see Amiga as F1 sponsor ;¬)

Really like this one, very passionate about F1 myself. "Amiga buy Jaguar F1 team" ... oh what a fantasy

It makes me a little sad seeing that as it's exactly the kind of publicity Commodore should have been investing in, but never did.

Let's hope that one day there's enough money in the Amiga market for F1 sponsorship, and that Jaguar Racing survives to accept it!

I wouldn't want to see Amiga sponsoring F1 just like some cigarette companies do! I also dislike formulas so my opinion is very biased

Jaguar F1 costs some $2 million a week to keep afloat. That shouldn't be a problem for KMOS/Amiga, should it?

Amiga buys Jaguar and forms Amiga F1 for the 2005 season. With Davidson and Wirdheim as drivers and a random paydriver as third. Sounds good to me.

With the odd £100 million they had hanging around, spare cash.... we wish!

Ah yes, the very talented Anthony Davidson certainly deserves a racing drive with his current form (might be heading to Williams though if they have any sense) and a pay-driver with a rich dad willing to fork out £50 million or so eh

@ Sicky ..

Yeah.

Commodore shoulda left poxy soccer sponsorship alone and gone for F1.

Much more GLOBAL impact than a Mad Dogs & Englishmen soccer sponsorship.

Great pic btw. Anyway you can clean it up a bit ? It was obviously a small bitmap resized.

F1 has a high tech image, look at companies like HP & Canon, very high profile & leading edge. Takes a lot of money to be even a minor sponsor though.

I remember Martin Brundles car (Jordan) having a very large company logo that was very cheap (only a few thousand pounds I believe) because it was on the underside of the car! But.. he had a massive accident at the start of the race, flipped his car over into the kitty litter and the cameras were focused on this huge logo on the underside of his car for ages whilst they extracted him from the car. That company got the deal of the century didn't it?

A company logo about 100mm long on say the front wings would normally cost in the region of £500,000...

All they need to is shift 40000 t-shirts a week

@ Sicky.. Yes. But in commodores day I don't recall seeing ANY "tech" stickers on the cars.

So amiga would of led the field (in that respect)

More lost opportunity I guess.
