@all

Very nice, the number of likes has gone up about 300 since November. :) Thanks all for liking AmigaOS.

If you haven't done so already, head over NOW!

Also why not have a good go in the Polls posted earlier today.

AmigaOS feedback is always welcome by all.

@thread

As some others have said in this thread, I don't like anything to do with Facebook. The whole culture and set up appears foolish and childlike to me. If I was still a teenager I suppose I might like it.

Facebook reminds me of a pancake house I once visited. Everything I touched was sticky from the seats and table to the utinsils, walls, and floors. For the first time ever I filled out a report and dropped the form into the suggestion box. A few weeks later I received some coupons for free meals, but I never went back.

Once you join Facebook it is like stepping on a wad of gum on a hot summer day. You just can't scrap it off of your shoe no matter how hard to try to get rid of it.

@djrikki

Sorry Rich, but I have never used the "Like" button on any site. I really think that button is silly. Maybe that is just the old man in me speaking, but I can't help feeling that way. I'll cherish the day when Facebook goes the way of My Space.

That being said I appreciate all that you do. Your Amiga Facebook page is nice. Just not on a site I like. No doubt you should get lots of views though. And perhaps from the younger crowd we need.

@fred

It may seem like small news for some, but the AmigaOS page on Facebook now has a much easier web address to remember. You can now simply navigate towards the following address.

https://www.facebook.com/AmigaOS

Giving the page what is called a 'Vanity Url' was a pretty straightforward task, however we did have to wait for permission from Facebook as someone (an individual user) was already hogging the name.

In other news, if you haven't already please Like the page and have a go at answering the Polls.

OS4Depot has very busy in the last few as a small army of developers continue to port more QT applications across to the AmigaOS platform. I counted no less than 57 today...

@Fransexy

I have nothing to hide. Both comments are by me, although there are others involved in the team.
