@scabit

Thanks scabit, I was lucky to get it. Every time I thought I had the money to buy one from Amigakit something always came up to eat it away.

This time however nothing was going to stop me (although my wife to be's face when I told her I had bought it was kinda scary, but she's OK with it...anything to keep me quiet )

@realize

Thanks, I am enjoying it so far. Might start a new thread about the experience compared to my 'souped it' A1200 with OS3.9.

@Amiboy

I'm just pleased that it is being used and, frankly, would have given it away to someone who will loved it like I couldn't. As it is I'll use the money to advance my electronics projects, on the off chance that I have time to work on those... perhaps when the little one leaves home. ;)

I used Amigas from 1.3 through 3.1, and completely missed out on 3.5, 3.9 etc. I think you should make that thread.

@scabit

Forgot to tell you that the Mrs gave birth a few weeks ago and I'm now a daddy!

We still need to transfer the OS4.1 licence. If anyone knows how to do this it would be cool....

Go check my blog page and read the blog titled How to allow your wife to enjoy your Amiga...its from September 2012 I think - about how to get your wife to enjoy your AmigaOne so you'll have no more scary looks .

Congratulations! It is such a wonderful joy, and also an incredible trial, all at the same time! Are you getting any sleep? Our son woke up once every 2 hours for the first NINE MONTHS! My wife was sleepwalking she was so tired.

@Amiboy

I had to transfer a license when I obtained my own sam440...

The seller I obtained it from removed the license code from their information... and told it to me which I then immediately registered on the hyperion site.

We didn't need to bother hyperion staff at all (removal first, then handover followed by entry on the new owners acct)

If there was anything else required I don't know about it.

(The seller actually trusted me to complete both ends of the transfer of license using a temporary password on their acct with hyperion... I'm not dumb enough to try anything stupid with anyone elses acct, I completed the "removal" of that 1 code and signed out, with an immediate notification of completion so the password was changed again immedately.

There were no issues with deletion and re-registration with the code that I am aware of)

@Belxjander

Cheers for the info!

@Amiboy

The serial has been removed from my hyperion account. You should be able to register it now. Make an account at http://www.hyperion-entertainment.biz/index.php and then register the serial.
