Os4.1 shows the icons seperatly as file, often with that default png-symbol, whats wrong here?

Sounds like you don't have the icon plugin installed - have you just updated from 4.0? You'll need to get png.iconmodule and put it in Libs:IconModules/ and reboot...

Plain OS4.1 Version with the SAM440ep

Btw. it shows only icon as seperatly file when it is a png?

It could also be that the Show .info option is selected in the Window->Show-> menu - this will show all icons, png or not. Switch that off and it should return to normal. If you still see the png icons separately, here's a link to the iconmodule download... OS4Depot Clicky

One thing I want to see, is the "Thumbnails" feature for pictures like in MorphOS.

It made thumbs for images in drawers...really nice!

Nice add-on, but it would be better to have this as an option in the context menus (snapshot isn't working).

Just add it in yourself.
Eastern is a third party app, and not everyone would want it. Just Edit your Sys:Prefs/Env-Archive/contextmenus.cfg file and add in whatever you want.
