| How can I use and setup properly to use my USB joypad with E-UAE for example?
I tried before but after configuring my CD32 joypad it wasn't recognized by WarpSNES if I remember.
What is better to use AmigaInput on OS4.0 Final or in Amiga OS4.1?
Help is really appreciated because I need to use my gamepad with WarpSNES and more. _________________ AMIGA 500 1.5 MB ACA500/ACA1232 accelerators AMIGA 500 German CD32 unexpanded Amiga 1200 Tower on AmigaKit since years AMIGA 1300 030/50 Mhz/32 MB WB 3.9 with lots of games&demos AMIGA ONE XE G3 PPC 800 Mhz/1 GB RAM/RADEON 9250 128 MB/SATA CONTROLLER |

No AmigaInput is not part of AmigaOS4.0 Final. AmigaInput is found in AmigaOS4.0 update 4 and AmigaOS4.1. AmigaOS4.0 update 4 has a buggy version of AmigaInput. I'm also supriced you are not using july update of AmigaOS4.0, oh yes It does not have AmigaInput July update is need to run OWB. _________________ http://lifeofliveforit.blogspot.no/ Facebook::LiveForIt Software for AmigaOS |

Yes I know AmigaInput is on OS4 update 4 CD!
But I tried before and it doesn't seem the work it may be buggy as you say.
I am not using OS4 Final only I have OS4 Final+July update.
Is there as way to setup the OS4 update 4 CD AmigaInput on OS4.0 Final+July or not?
And is it easy to install a dual boot system containing OS4 Final+OS4.1? Is there a guide for it?
I want to buy OS4.1 but I will go for a dual boot system with OS4 Final and OS4.1.
July update is great!!! _________________ AMIGA 500 1.5 MB ACA500/ACA1232 accelerators AMIGA 500 German CD32 unexpanded Amiga 1200 Tower on AmigaKit since years AMIGA 1300 030/50 Mhz/32 MB WB 3.9 with lots of games&demos AMIGA ONE XE G3 PPC 800 Mhz/1 GB RAM/RADEON 9250 128 MB/SATA CONTROLLER |

Great information you give me!!!
Can you make a quick resume of the steps I have to do in order to install OS4.0 and OS4.1 together?
I consider to install update#4 to have three different versions of AmigaOS on my AmigaOne.I suppose the steps are similar and the only thing I will have to do is to put OS4 update#4 on DH2: and edit the Kicklayout as with your example no?
I think now I know why last year when I configured the Kicklayout to boot Final and update#4 it didn't work.Because I had both OSes in two dirs but in the same partition which was DH0!!!What a mistake but I followed the instructions of some forum probably on this site. The result was noone of the systems booting at all at least update#4 (this probably didn't boot) and Final booted but with strange and poorly coloured Workbench probably touching the graphics configuration part for some reason. This was more than a year ago.
If you make a schematic resume I will be very grateful with you.Give me a step by step of your last explanation and if I am clear I will definetely go for the installation of at least two AmigaOS if I buy OS4.1,OK?
I want to be sure of the advantages and new functions of OS4.1 before I buy it but I am very tentated to buy it.It seems to be very cool and advanced but the photos are not the same as the monitor you use.Anyway it looks and seems wonderful!!
Many thanks for your exhaustive explanation!!! _________________ AMIGA 500 1.5 MB ACA500/ACA1232 accelerators AMIGA 500 German CD32 unexpanded Amiga 1200 Tower on AmigaKit since years AMIGA 1300 030/50 Mhz/32 MB WB 3.9 with lots of games&demos AMIGA ONE XE G3 PPC 800 Mhz/1 GB RAM/RADEON 9250 128 MB/SATA CONTROLLER |

1) All the kickstart files most be on a boot partition whit hiest boot priority. 2) move the files in to sub directory's 3) Change the kicklayout file. 4) create the BootDevice file 3 chars no enter symbols. 5) use negative boot value on partitions, this is importent becouse if you use positive values, you might not be able to boot from your install cd again.

I have done all the steps you give me here and the results are poor. I only can boot OS4.1 and tried 3 or 4 configurations and Final boot but it gives and error of USBControl version and later stay at the Workbench4.1 screen desktop so I can't use it as it request gadgets and other things from OS4.1. Update 4 shows black screen and doesn't boot only the Kickstart files. And Update 1 only reach to the point of loading the Kickstart modules,no black screen or WB one at all.
I make all partitions SFS/00,formated and installed on each one the corresponding OS.Edited the Kicklayout for all partitions and saved to OS4.1/Kickstart.And I putted a BootDevice module at the end of each configuration on the Kicklayout and later edited a file named BootDevice for Final,Update4 and Update1,that's is DH1,DH2 and DH3 for each one copied on its corresponding dir. And important thing is that first I used the slb2 coming on OS4.1 CD and now I am using the one that is on OS4 Prerelease CD as it supports SFS and Linux. About this what are the differences between these two and what filesystems support each one?
I am thinking about creating my new partitions for OS4.1 and I suppose that for all if this works at all.I like SFS but what are the differences between SFS and the new JXFS of AmigaOS4.1?
Thanks for your help and support.

Yes you will get a problem whit your setup update 1 and update 4 does not support bootdevice.
So do like this
update 1 bootpri -1 update 4 bootpri 0, and put all kickfiles her. update final, bootpri -1 and use FInal/bootdevice AmigaOS4, bootpri -1 and use OS41/bootdevice.
