Is there a set of instructions somehwhere? My OS4.1.x Workbench titlebar shows total memory, but I'd like it to show free memory and, if possible, free graphics card memory.

@number6

Hey, 6... Guess I should be more specific. I know where to change it, but I'm looking for what to type in the text string to get free RAM and free graphics card memory.

@mbrantley

Screen title format in workbench prefs.

Press the box that says Insert and select from the gui that pops up there.

@Toaks

Ah... ok I got it now. I thought I had to type some stuff before hitting the insert button.
Now I see how it works.

Thanks, Toaks and 6.

a better name or a better layout is whats needed IMO , it used to be a bit different before and i am not sure when this was changed.
I will write an enhancement request.

@mbrantley

You can also add text to define the variable, before or after the variable.

@mbrantley

And here's mine:
%e BootVolume |=| %e ActiveMemGuard |=| %e ActiveApache |=| %e ActiveSashimi |=| C-compiler: %e ActiveC_Compiler |=| Video: %mgq%% remaining
On a µ one will see video memory rapidly turning to low, one-digit figures, indicating slow responses to windowmovements and other such activities...

My string is
AmigaOS %r ( %c %u %e CPUTemp ) %mmMb free of %mtmMb (%mgmMb free of %mgtmMb on %g)

"CPUTemp" is an env var set by the CPUTemp dockie with no GUI.
