Hello everyone,

It's some sort of "bad news" I bring you there.
I'm a little forced to suspend * my * personal projects including Amiga ones for various reasons (job, financial, family, health) because a lot of these things are currently scrambling and make it becomes difficult to manage everything.

I will not expose all the details for you to avoid to write a full book 15 pages (those who really want to know will know but by private message), but despite all these, a small financial return recently (gain in law procedure for my wife) which saved us avoiding the worst, the situation is going down again, and I must do everything to avoid it ... Adding to this the other problems just outlined above.

So I have to take the time to refocus, on which is essential to manage, find solutions to these problems that are falling down on the corner of the mouth and, everything will be better. Then I hope to come back and continue this project important to my heart.

I wanted to inform you in respect to all the Amiga fans, because these latter times, no news about the project have been published.
I thank all those who have supported me so far.
And I tell you I hope ... soon.

Thanks for keeping the community informed! Perhaps when things get better you can resume your work on theAmiDark Engine.

Thank you for your support message.
For sure it cannot be a definitive stop.
It's just there are too many things that cannot wait to be resolved ... Financial risks ... Problems with my employeer concerning my ill (EHS) and problems with my genetic family ...
When all these 3 will be fixed ... I will continue the project.

i got CFS because i never realized that i had a muscle disease/syndrom and i just kept working hard and tried to think it wasn't all that bad, everything collapsed around me eventually and it felt like i was sick for decades, it was 4 years and while i will never be 100% but i can safely say that money do help in order to get treatment, proper one atleast.

wish you all the best and i hope you can get over this hill climb and one thing is for sure and that is that many (if not all) will wait for you till you're back.

concerning my case, EHS ( Electro Hyper Sensitivity) is a problem for my job.
My boss is a French Internet Provider (and mobile phone provider too) so, telling them I'm EHS is a bit complex. They know I am but they unwilling to accept this reality.
So I have much problems with them ...

You are not alone, I understand your feelings.

It is hard recession time here in Italy and it is becoming very harsh to find the time and the finances for personal projects / AmigaOS 4.x.

Anyway, IT CAN' T ALWAYS RAIN!!!

Well, I've also been through some pretty tough times recently, but it feels like all will improve quite soon.

Of course there's still a danger that some byrocrats will find an excuse to be able to demolish my life once again...

Sad to hear you have to let it go, please let us know if situation changes anytime, or if there is someone you can hand over to continue the work, meanwhile (some young padawan)
