So good old ways are gone? No more banishing of nonbelievers and burning of heretics? This 21st century is so boring.

However, it is still much better than stay on the wrong side of inquisition.

Edited by Clebin: That's off-topic and ddni isn't here to answer it.

/removed: off topic and against the TOS.

Sorry to see you go.

Though I do understand the desire to spend time someplace fun, and not waste it somewhere you are not comfortable. It's just sad to see the vindictive people win.

Perhaps I'm better at filtering things here and the places I do go. There are certainly times when I wish I could block a user or two, and I certainly quit reading particular threads when they turn into flame wars between two or three topic hijackers. I still find myself occasionally typing in ann.lu our of old habits that still have not quite been extinguished, and that site was closed long ago. I've not found myself trying to visit cucug.org in a very long time though, that habit must have dried up finally.

I do find that there are some good topics here, that do not show up or only very brief copies on other sites, and I continue to check in at each place I find interesting things. Then FPGAarcade topic is at amiga.org, open-source dopus magellan is at amigans.net, eab has the new GB1000 order thread, etc. Not all interesting stuff thrives on a single site it seems. Occasionally I also check out the aros forum site. I don't have MOS, so I haven't sought them out, but I'm not against it or anything. HI do have an Efika in a storage box somewhere, and a G4 iBook waiting for a MOS port (and new LCD backlight) someday. :)

The only place I've not found myself comfortable enough to stay with was moobunny. That was a combination of really not liking their web interface, and also not being able to find any sufficient signal to noise ratio in the content to keep my interest, all my own opinion of course. I certainly won't go on a quest to convert anyone that likes moobunny into leaving it behind, as their opinions are their business, just as your opinion of this website is your business.

Maybe not, but nonetheless I have decided to leave moobunny behind and instead spend all of my "Amiga" quality time here on AWN.

See you soon!

@Arko

I will leave the others to handle it as this point. I think your remarks are completely over-the-top and I don't see how you think I'm trying to protect the OP given my earlier response in this thread. Linking to off-topic posts from months ago in order to wind up other users most certainly is against TOS, sorry. That was my assessment and that's what I had to act on. If you want to take it to PM I'm happy to discuss it there but this is not the place for it.

Chris

@Arko

If you have issues with moderation take it to PM to another mod or administrator.

Please don't talk about moderation in public, it's disruptive and against the TOS.

If you have a problem with certain posts report them and/or pm a mod with why you think so.

Thanks for understanding.

Edit by Mod: And we'll have none of that.
