@pavlor

Actually they were down in July too. I guess no one posted then.

Regardless, they have been notified.

Just to make the thread a little more "educationnal" I am not a big server expert but I remember reading something about IP takeover services for backup servers when the main server goes down.

If the backup server can't redirect the IP to itself it would give a "fake off" error because the function is not enabled. Sorta like a spoofing function.

Any guru could confirm if i'm on the right track here?

The server is up again (press "reload" in the browser if the "fake off" message still appears).

@salass00

Forum and Amigaos.net do work, but not the main Hyperion website.

@vox

Works fine here. Have you tried reloading the page and/or flushing the caches?

@salass00

Oh yes, you are right, cleaning the cache is mandatory.
Its back.

I wonder, it often does mean just not paying hosting bill in time,
or being exposed to a attack?

Knowing and seeing how many people have tendency to hate Hyperion, maybe some of them are skilled enough to do such minor damage from time to time.

However, only one that is a victim are users that need to register any new Hyperion games or OS4 in order to download updates or to get access to appropriate support forum.
