[Poll] The Amiga Inc Website

I've thought for a long time that the Amiga.com website is a disgrace and is another contributing factor in making the Amiga brand virtually worthless! Is there any way in which Hyperion could or would gain ownership to this site to avoid the embarrassing design/content and even links to the Seattle Thunderbirds (even after Amiga failed to fulfil their contract to sponsor the Kent Center (now Showare center)!

Strange. I would say Hyperion enemy.
Well, now AInc looks more like a jester than an enemy

I'm not going to allow you to continue this unsubstantiated claim to suit your own trolling goals. You've done it several times now. Two companies reaching a settlement does not make them partners necessarily. If they are they can announce it if they wish. If you have *proof* that you can provide, then fine. Until then, you have a seven day ban for continuing your little campaign here. Also, take that pyramid Exfuze link out of your profile.

I know Amiga Inc. is far from loved by most of us. I *suspect* and *hope* this was a joke. But its best not to joke about such, or put any stupid ideas into anyone's head either.

Current indications would say "no".

This seems like a pointless poll.

@damocles
Edited: Didn't see the ban before I posted.

Pretty pointless poll as I suspect everyone here would like to see amiga.com in the hands of someone else than Amiga Inc.
Personally I would like to see Hyperion get it but Amigaos.com would be fine as well. I guess they will get Amigaos.com if they want it?

@Troels

Sorry to waste everyone's time

However, every time I visit Amiga.com it seems to be getting more amateur and less glossy. It was fairly tasteful back in 2001 and now it is nothing more than a hoax website full of propoganda and vapourware/spin. Anyone would think they were following the dreams of the original Los Gatos team from the drivel they write and yet their crowning achievement is a Christmas Card Maker!!! COMPLETE JOKE & VERY ANNOYING!

It's not your fault mate. Believe me, I feel exactly the same about amiga.com.

Amigaos.com Sale Page

AmigaOS.com was owned by me about a decade ago. It was a site about how to improve the AmigaOS. New idea's in detail (screen functionality mock-ups) etc where presented here. It had a closed community back then.
The idea behind it was a open source AmigaOS concept offering service. Where Idea's where shared and worked out.

After a view years since I launched the site I lost interest in Amiga and didn't renew the AmigaOS.com subscription. Since than it goes from one domain "hijacker" to the other. Thinking that they can make big bucks out of it. Really a shame.

I even received a letter from Petro Tyschtschenko when we just started the site. He congratulated me with the site but he asked if I can remove the Amiga logo, because that was their property. He also asked if I could hand over the domain name. haha..., I refused and didn't hear a thing after that.
It looked quite nice back then, better than Amiga.com so It might made them look bad or something like that.

@Phantom

Also, Hyperion Entertainment are not really near the top of a google search either for 'Amiga' = 41st hit or for 'Hyperion' itself= 11th hit!

They could really do with a higher profile address for AmigaOS!!

There are at least 3 or 4 others that would publicly agree with you that come to mind, maybe even more who would silently agree with you.

Would be nice if Hyperion could get that IP for a smaller amount of money. Maybe waiting until its dried out ;)
