Does anyon here have the skills & time to look at porting this:

http://www.residualvm.org

ResidualVM is a cross-platform 3D game interpreter which allows you to play LucasArts' LUA-based 3D adventures.

It has a Mac PPC version in download section (a recently updated version too) but not sure how much work would be reuired to get an OS4/MOS version.

I know its still a work in progress but the more things we can get running (easily) on our NG systems the better.

I think it would be great if we had this, mainly because it would alow for playing Grim Fandango on NG systems...........which I'll be able to do once AmigaKit get Sam460s back in stock.

@pavlor

Thats great news, has anyone here tried this yet?

Does it need updating as I believe they have a new build out (I dont have the skills for this personally).

Maybe a small bounty for someone to update it would help???

@Amiboy

I try it some time ago, and works with some glitches, and sometimes hangs , but works.

This is presented on an AmigaOne X-1000 using AmigaOS4.1 with software video rendering. Grim Fandango is a Lucas Arts game, and you need the original game files to play. (or the demo version)
