Here’s the top 3 finishers from this year’s Revision 2012 (http://www.revision-party.net/) for the 64k PC demo
1. Gaia Machine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Kx66_i3ue4
2. 1426 F http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lShMvaQDq-4
3. The scene is dead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFXIGHOElrE

The last one is from Razor1911 which some folks and a bit of historical reference.

Also from the Amiga 500 oldschool competition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6dfLG7wowQ

The PC 4K competition is pretty sweet as well.

I was at the revision party, the party was cool but both Amiga and PC demo compo where not really spectacular.
The real battle was in de pc 4k en 64k demo compo, that did have some awesome stuff!

Really? The Amiga one linked there was awesome. Do you have links to the others?

How was the party?

Cool Stuff!!!

Just spent the past 2 hours on youtube on my TV watching this and a whole load of other amiga scene stuff.. Ahhh those were the days.

One day... I will get to a demo party before they no longer exist!

The winning amiga ecs demo was so cool and fun. Amazing this runs on stock a500. When people come over and I run scene demos like that they cant believe it!

The party itself was awesome, i could recommend this party to everyone who likes the demo scene, it really has that oldskool feeling!
We released our second demo there (short transmission by edge of panic) and was made in only 7 weeks, we finished 12th in the pc demo compo (our coders cannot code for amiga )
There where also some very cool live acts and concerts during the party.
The sound system was overwhelming, during the concerts i had to use earplugs because it was that loud!
And not let's forget the boozing at the bonfire outside, like always the real party is outside!

The Amiga compo could have been better, TBL almost released a new Amiga demo, but due to problems and delays they did not, real bummer i was really excited about that.
I did see the TBL guys at the party.

For all revision 2012 results, youtube movies and downloads got to:

http://www.pouet.net/party.php?which=1550&when=2012

We also made a live video from our own demo (sorry for the bad sound quality the camera mic could not handle the PA system there )
