My A1200 towered Blizzard PPC with gfx card fell off a chair when I moved house.
the heatsinc is no longer attached to the CPU and only boots in low-res Workbench now.
Anyone able to offer cheap servicing/repairs ?

damn! , i am not into hw sadly so i can't help there.
but the heatsink on the ppc is possible to remove just by the clips so just re attach it and it should be ok , although some adhesive/cooling paste or whatever should be removed and reapplied.

as for Workbench booting into low res, was there a Bvision attached?
If there is a mediator attached then you need to check the powersupply cables and the gfx card.

need more info on the specs.

@TrebleSix

Running the card without the cooler will have surely killed the 603e.

Amiga Centre will repair PPC cards.

Stachu100 over at amiga.org or EAB is also capable of doing the work too. He has upgraded cards to run at over 300Mhz.
