OK, it's seems we have some meat on the grill in these days. Could someone give us some info in what's going on, please?

1° Update 5 - when?

2° Amiga OS 4.2 What and when?

3° Amiga Laptop?

4° Acube status update?

5° OpenGL?

6° Developers comments?

7° A-eon status update?

@amitv

i'd like to know the status on these items as well. there's been a ton of stuff 'in the pipeline' for some time now, but with little actual news on progress. i enjoy my little SAM, but i need more performance -- and i have a hard time justifying the expense of any of the new machines given the lack of 3D graphics, full support for on-board hardware, etc., etc.

steve's philosophy of frequent releases and better communication is one i wholeheartedly support. any information the developers can provide would be much appreciated by all.

Your ignorance is touching. You don't get info by just asking for it. Begging doesn't work either. Being patient and waiting "forever" doesn't work. Something that has worked in the past is a general online uprising accompanied by a great deal of wild, inaccurate speculation. Throw in a pinch of character assassination and doomsday pronouncements. After all that you might just get somewhere.

I think my favorite answer is “When its done”, it works for most questions so I say its really generic, and its short only tree words.

Hopefully, everything happens before the community and the Amiga itself are "done" for good.

Overall I think that a lot can be done with AmigaOS as it is now.
