My Blog on Estuary Radio

Hello,

I am a presenter on my local community radio station, at present its internet-only radio station with aspirations of going on the FM-frequency later in the year.

I present a show between 8-11pm (GMT) Friday nights (assuming a paid gig doesn't come in last minute!) - its a club/dance/house/oldskool mix show.

Anyone to cut a long story short, I've written this week's blog and its all about the humble Amiga - past and present!

http://www.estuaryradio.com/blogs/richard-lake/2012/08/02/back-time

Like all my blogs I always mention them on-air and talk about them during the show.

I plan to play 3 Amiga-made/referenced songs during my show - e.g. Move your Feet - Junior, Calvin Harris - Acceptable in the 80s etc... probably stick a game-tune in there too! Any ideas what to play are most appreciated!

So don't forget to listen and support me during my show.

Thanks

@djrikki

Great!

May I suggest the Cannon Fodder main theme?

Or the Blood Money intro:

Or, well, this is easy, Spaceball's State of the Art:

kickocheck for amigaremixes of old c64 tunes from games like "Delta" and "lightforce". You will probably find some clubby versions.

@all

You can find my full Estuary Radio show from last week with the Amiga segment in place by listening to the full podcast at:

http://www.estuaryradio.com/content/podcasts ( 3rd August 2012)

If you would prefer to listen to the Amiga segment only which has been heavily edited (so it can e.g. be uploaded to YouTube) then click the link below:

http://www.estuaryradio.com/audio/podcasts/richard-lake/estuary_radio_amigasegement.mp3

Feedback much appreciated, apologies in advance for my vocal work, still new to radio!

And of course again don't forget to check out my Amiga blog, cheers!
