Incredibly childish from the "hackers"! Why chase away the company that is allowing AmigaOS to continue? This is just ridiculous. I'd hate to lose out on using something I enjoy due to behaviour like that!

@vox

Not even particularly well written either as nothing shows up in IBrowse. Oh well, some demented little troll is probably sitting in a dark corner somewhere sniggering to himself and thinking how clever he is not realising how easy it is to delude oneself.

I suppose it helps him to resist the natural urges to live under a bridge and molest goats...

Are we absolutely SURE it has, indeed, been hacked? Hmmm?

@Severin

It's not even HTML, which is why it's not playing well with IBrowse. In fact it's literally just the text "fake off" and a UNIX / Amiga-style linefeed. That's it, just those 9 bytes.

its very annoying when content related to amiga in any way is being removed from internet. hyperion pages, in particular the blog, contain reference material thet needs to be accessible. only lately i linked to it. would be very inconvinient to lose that reference permamently, even if i dont expect that. i hope they back up regularly, or if not, someone has to take care of it, even if just taking screenshots.

@vox

it was probably a nameserver hack, redirected the primary domain to another IP and server

More like a paraphrased final message from Hyperion to its loyal fan base.

..an attempt by some idiot, to ignite a useless fight again. whatever it is, its nothing id pay much attention to. if it was funny at least ..
edit: this addresses the assumed hacker, not the comment of cool_amigan, sorry for possible missunderstanding, was not clear to me how this comes over.
