Individual Computers announced several new products a short time ago. :) It's party time for classic Amiga users!

Individual Computers - New products for C64 and Amiga

It's good to see that there is so much activity on the hardware front these days.

@PG

Exciting new products and low prices. I wish Jens would make something like the ACA500 for the CD32.

I want ACA460 for my SAM440ep-mini !!!!

And some nice toy for the FPGA I/O port.
(AGA gfx out would be nice, or floppyconnector, or some atari ports or...)

Hmm... does that A500 accelerator work on A2000????

Well I am getting the realtime clock, since the battery in my 1260 died a long time ago.

Looks like it will clash with the video slot but you could probably use a socket riser as long you don't use the video slot.

Great news, although i wish the ACA500 came with 4mb (or 8mb) instead of 2mb. Even so, its very tempting at 79,90 EUR!

The 14MHz 68000 is what the A500+ and A600 should have come with from day 1. Still, these are nice expansions for the lower end Amigas, especially in terms of WHDLoad and adding a CompactFlash HD. Shame it isn't a 28MHz 68000, or faster.

@Rob

I'd also be interested in something my my CD32. Maybe he'll make something in the future? The bbility to hook up a hard drive/CF-card and some fast-RAM would do wonders.

What's a SuperPLA and what's so special about it? Is the PLA the first to go?

Could they make some new PPC cards while they're at it?

It's supposed to be more compatible than any other PLA clone made from EPROMs. FWIW, others make PLA clones (like Eslapion in Montreal, Quebec).

PLAs in Commodores run hot and are one of the chips commonly known to fail.

Perhaps next year (I hope!)
But there is already a PPC project for AMIGA: UltimatePPC

@LTAC

You will never see a PPC accelerator from Individual Computers, I'm certain. The hardware hackery that is required would make any accelerator cost even more than a Cyberstorm PPC, and the gain would be small because there's not enough software for PowerUp/WarpUp, and the new PPC Amigas will always be more powerful.

Also, the UltimatePPC will probably never use the PPC for AmigaOS at all. I think to all intents and purposes I'm afraid if you need a PPC classic, it's always going to have to be the CSPPC and BPPC.

@Hattig

Well, you'll have ACA620 for the A600 :)

What if:
The A500+ should have been sold for 6-12 months longer, the A300/600 shouldn't have been released at all and the A1200 should have been released with 1 MB chip with 1 MB chip extra + RTC as an option and with 1 and 2 MB Fast RAM expansion cards for the Trap Door slot.

Looks cool, but is only for A3&4000, maybe they'll get round to an A1200 one afterwards.

I'm excited about this;

Quote:
The “big” Amiga models don’t have to stand back: We’ll have big memory for a small budget soon. The new BigRamPlus offers 256MBytes of memory for A3000(T) and A4000(T). The full-size Zorro-3 card will be available from all Individual Computers resellers at 99,90 EUR (*).

More memory! Actually I'd really like an 060 (with or without PPC) for my A4000D, I have always wanted an 060 computer...

@RoqueFort

Yep, we all need a cheap PPC accelerator for our AMIGA: 600/1200/2000/3000/4000 and CD32 why not!
