@Drako

Looks like some people had some fun - loving that place, is that someone's work place or where they live? Always imagined I'd love a cool development studio bit like that if I ever got into coding..

Be great for LAN parties too

Rude!

@Drako

First I looked at the picures because it promised to be quick... thumbnails. Then I chose some pics to look at. A few.

Later, I was at AmigaFuture and a news item there persuaded me to look further into AmitopiaTV. I had to hunt around to convince myself that I had software that would properly accomodate #?.avi. MPlayer! Then I let 288 Megs download while went and made some lunch.

Still licking fingers, the download was complete. I fired up MPlayer.

My, oh my! I cannot imagine how much time and effort goes into this. I have no idea at all how to make items that would be appropriate for such a show.

Does anyone here have any idea?

AmitopiaTV was *very* engaging. It made the PowerDev come alive in a way that my viewing a couple still pictures could never, ever, convey.

I DL'ed 280mb amitopa avi just for power meeting report, and as always got bored with amix report :)

Sorry amix. Amitopia is a great idea and i don't miss it, but your reviews sucks. Other stuff are ok.
In #4, in Sputnik review, i heard 3-4 times that ign.com is a heavy site. Yeah.. But does sputnik support tabbing, flash video, download, bookmarks, how fast is it when iconifying/deiconifying... Show us other sites and not that YOU made the review.

In #5; i heard 5 times about dancing bananas, but didn't hear if efika/mos can play DVD quality video. Not a single stuff about multitasking when heavily loaded... and much more.

Sorry dudes, lack of coffeine this day

@Srbin

I am trying to do the best out of it. With all comments, I try to improve the shows from release to release. Thanks for arguments. Thats what I want :) It helps the shows getting better in the future.

Sputnik Beta 4 review is only a pre-review. When Sputnik finally gets fully released, I will do a more indepth review. I will try to say IGN not that often :) Another thing is that I should have used an external microphone instead of the one built into my macbook.

I do the graphics in TvPaint on my MorphOS system. Then I use iMovieHD 6 to complete it all. Titler for MorphOS is also used. Now I am learning Blender which got Video Editing aswell.

For the next release of Amitopia TV I will focus more on MorphOS 2 for Efika. I will do all I can to improve the show. But I am just in the start of my Amiga video service to the community. Give me sometime, and comment my productions. It helps me really. I hope to be able to produce 1-2 shows every month.

Thanks for everyone watching it.

Regards,
Michal

@Rudei

It's Geit's basement, and all other rooms were filled with sleeping-bags and the like...

@AmiDelf2

Thx for listening, i thought you would go mad. Or at least, start dancing with bananas :)

Suggestions, if you want to listen your users:

1. A must-have is to place your camera steady, like in #5, MOS review. Do not hold it in hands, it shakes too much. In #5, it was just as it should be
2. Try to speak louder if you have some music in background
3. Before recording, write down what you want to show, and then use that for helping. Even professionals use that method. Not using it makes you repeat yourself too much and not show much.
4. Don't repeat same commodore commercials too often, it just increases .avi file for no reason. Put different, last time i saw 3 times same amiga ad from ~1991. And 280MB was a real pain to download on 512kbs :(

5. And pls, make a GOOD review of efika/mos/sputnik as soon as possible :)

Test also some DVD, camera recording, general speed when heavily loaded etc...
