I was just about to send my reply saying how nicely 28 worked, but I got a Grim and had to hard reset. Don't know if it was Netsurf at fault or not. OWB 331 was still open at the time. But I've been having other glitches with my A1-XE as well since update 3.

Voted sobj's and not using low memory version. (have 2 GB here).

copied over "options", "hotlist" and a few others from 27 and fonts are big enough and hotlist works well.

I've been surfing online to buy Cheap Diablo 3 Gold more than three hours today, yet I never found any cheap diablo 3 gold to buy interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before Buy diablo 3 gold.

I have officially stopped supporting OS4.0, the next release will only have OS4.1 Cairo binaries.
This does not stop anybody from building an OS4.0 compatible version from source (please send patches if you need to make changes for it to work)
The parserutils.library low memory experiment will likewise be gone when lpu is next updated, however if there are no API changes the current lowmem version should still work (lpu is quite stable).

If you use AmigaOS 4.0 you will need to upgrade to AmigaOS4.1 for future versions of NetSurf.

I'm using the static version on OS4.1 SAM 667. Installed 2.8 version. It works fine no bugs up to now, the only problem is some grey flashes during pages rendering or scrolling.
Installing SObjs version it crashes at the splash screen. I have to reboot.

@ilbarbax

If you send me a crashlog I will try and fix that.

Try adding "cairo_renderer:0" to Resources/Options in the meantime.

@Chris_Y

I don't use NetSurf for the reason I reported in the NetSurf 2.9 news thread; it gives me an ELF error stating "ELF Library Unable to resolve symbol 'lwc_intern_string'". Would love to be able to use it again on OS4.1, but I can't.

@Valiant

That's a libwapcaplet function. If you're getting that error it can only mean libwapcaplet.so.0 didn't load properly or is a version without that function in it (I'm pretty sure they *all* have that function though).

Try copying libwapcaplet.so.0 from the archive directly into NetSurf's directory; that should ensure it is using the correct version. Try it directly from a clean boot before loading anything else too.

Other than that, you're going to have to monitor with Snoopy. Is your OS4.1 all up to date?

Installed & working on the x1000, I don't like the .so files copied to the sys:Objs directory, so moved them into the NetSurf directory. I think this is the first version thats worked for me, nice.

Can bookmarks from any other browser be imported? Hate adding bookmarks.

@sundown

If you export bookmarks from "the other browser" as HTML, and save them as <NetSurfDir>/Resources/Hotlist you might find they will load in (when you load NetSurf).

There's no actual import option, it's a good idea though, I'll see if I can add something.

Ok, copied it directly into NetSurf's directory and it starts up now, but complains about running out of memory. :/

Ok, copied bookmarks.html ftom mui-owb, renamed "hotlist" & re-named "bookmarks.html" to "Hotlist". NetSurf put up an error window first start, but the hot list window showed all the bookmarks. No error on a second start or after a soft re-boot.

One thing I've noticed in all OS4 browsers, text on a second line is cut off sometimes, maybe you know why? Is it because I'm using OS4 fonts instead of a web font?

That's a "default error". As you're getting a different message now it is probably worth copying the rest of the SObjs into NetSurf's dir too, it's almost certainly a version mismatch.

Cool! What do you mean by "second line"? Do you have a screenshot/example?

Text problem here http://i48.tinypic.com/21b6vx1.jpg
You can see in the TV listing how the second text line is cut off. I see this on every os4 browser, not just NetSurf.

That did the trick, no problems starting now.

Weird. I just looked at that site here in NetSurf and the second lines are showing fully. Your text is much bigger though - do you have something odd set on the site? What are your font settings (font name, default & minimum sizes) and DPI set to?

I left every thing at default, which is set to Sans-serif. I did change the font size to 17pt, 15pt min. I do have the web fonts, not sure if they would make a difference. I've played with font size before, made no difference on any browser. Just to repeat, this is not a NetSurf only issue, I see this on OWB & TimberWolf.

I'm no browser expert but all I can say is that I think your min setting should be less from your max setting. AFAIK it rarely uses that size anyway on any site. My setting are 12 and 16 on a 23" monitor and I think that's ok. You should also check your DPI value in the settings GUI for Netsurf but I should stop writing now and let Chris answer .
