I dont get very far at all as runinuae is crashing.
Runinuae used to work fine till some of the latest updates.

As some people have said, you need to type the following command in the Shell:

Quote:
Delete LIBS:AmigaInput/PCI_CatweaselJoystick.driver

This problem was (IIRC) due to Update 5 containing a new buggy version of Catweasel driver for AmigaInput, and annoyingly it has not yet been fixed

For the next release of RunInUAE I might make the installer offer to delete this buggy file for you...

In manual it says "for safety" reasons, but I don't know what they actually are. I never had any problems by allowing write operations. It's nice to have games saving high scores etc.

Since RunInUAE (currently) makes your whole partition accessible to E-UAE, I did not want to risk any potential problems. There are several ways I could fix this, but lack of feedback has meant I didn't think it was a big problem. So: If you don't like how RunInUAE does something, then please email me.

@ChrisH

Thanks, my E-UAE seems to have developed a bug since I last used it, hopefully this will fix it!

@ChrisH

Is the only way to make settings changes in RuninUAE through the text file? Is there going to be a gui someday? I'm loving using it, but its a PITA to change a text file all the time.. I'm also confused about how to make different configurations such as a Whdload configuration, a hi spec workbench config, and a low end ocs /adf loading config.. how do do this please?
