Hi,

I have tried repeatedly to get the OS4 version of Basilisk 2 working with MAC OS 8.1 to no avail. I have tried installing OS8.1 from an original Apple CD onto a clean partition, and although the OS8.1 CD boots and runs fine, once 8.1 is installed onto a partition, and I try to boot from it, it gets about 10% of the way into the startup process (the progress bar) and locks up.
I have also tried using hard files that have bare bones MAC OS8.1 installed, and again, the exact same problem. I have tried turning off extensions, that makes no difference.


So, is this a problem with the Amiga OS4 version of Basilisk 2? Does anyone running Amiga OS4 have Basilisk 2 running MAC OS8.1 or even MAC OS8.0 partitions or hard files that work with an AmigaOne?
