Today i was testing warp os emu ... from last time i was using it on my sam 440 anf on my 4000 D but there no problems ... was working with a good compatibility.
today i installed it and it is not working ...when i click on a program for warpos nothing appears no errors , no programs ... nothing.

I have a sam 460 with a radeon 4650 ... can some one help?

WarpOS doesn't work with the newest "familiy members" (Sam460ex/AmigaOne 500 and AmigaOne X1000). Sadly the WarpOS emulation seems to be processor specific and it doesn't seem to be on the todo list of the OS4 dev team atm.

wasn't that funded by Gurumeditation initially?

I don't recall OS4 team having any interest in this themselves prior to that.

On Official forum we got answer its possible but not a priority anytime soon.

Its also good to see past discussion on Amigans net and bugs summary at official forum

One-in-all it was never a perfect wrapper, but its abandoned by author with no sources avail.

WarpOS emu is a free wrapper you can find it on Os4depot or on aminet,
The OS 4.1 is compiled specifically for any machine type.
You have an Os4.1 for pegasos , another for sam 440, for the amigaone and for Sam 460 etc etc....
The 460 cpu is different for the 440 because have more instruction , and the new sdk compiler was made for gave the compatibility for this machine too.
The Warpos emu was compiled for Amiga One , 440 and the Amiga Classic and not for X1000 and 460, this wrapper was made before the exit the new machine and the compiler too.. this means it not run on the new machine plus hyperion put a low priority for this project.

Some one ask to Joerg Strohmayer the source for update the project and make it compatible with the sam and x1000 but Joerg Strohmayer reply to him NO.

we really hope in this , there are some good software for warpos or the old ppc.library for amiga (games, professional and free) hope one day this programs will run in the amiga ng.

The guys of hyperion and 5/6 more peoples who made some other extra thing on the os 4 ... ... very few team , because no much money and there isnt too much os4 user in the world probably they sell 4000 copy of the os for all the platform :(

I'm almost sure this meant the sources were available to AmigaOS developpers not to the general public. I.e. just to reassure that the work done is not lost and when the time will come someone (from the OS dev team) can update it.

they wrote in the hyperion blog the warpos compatibiltity is low priority in time line ... and this is incredible because this compatibility will made more people come to the os 4 from the old classic .
but i know the warp3d is a part of warpos system probably because of this it have low priority ...

Warp3D is not part of WarpOS since it works on 68k aswell.
I cannot see why there is different version of WOS-layer on different machines really.

I use another OS which supports WOS (and W3D) regardless underlying CPU model, no difference between machines.
