Hi guys,

Does anyone know if the guy who created the little program Eonald W Millican is still around or if his contact details are still OK (I tried sending an email a day or so ago, but got no reply).

although I'm not a programmer I would like to attempt to update and include more conversions for his program, so if I could get hold of the sources it would give me an easy start.

even if a program like this is relatively easy to creat I would rather just be able to give myself a little head start and just see how he has written the code and then take it from their.

Thanks

@Amiboy

The application sound easy to make, but it might be easier to start whit examples, there are some Reaction examples provided whit the SDK.

It might be good to get course about C programming, forget about C++ it's just a more enchanted version of C that AmigaOS does not rally benefit from.

As you have some experience whit installation scripts you know, what order things is done, you need to learn about different types of loops, you need some knowledge a about scanf, printf, you need to learn about different logical and mathematical operators. If you know this you should be able to produce something, next you should learn about tables, and from there try understand pointers, tables and pointers is somewhat closely related.
A string is an table of chars.

I suggest you make small code examples for you self that you can look at if you forget something, do not make it too complicated in the start.
