Whenever I start Earth2100 it comes up with the following error:

Error: Error: SDL_SetVideoMode failed (Failed to create MiniGL contect).

I am trying to run it on OS4.1 update 6, Sam460 with Radeon HD 6570 and 2GB ram

Install wazp3d, the tittle screen in Earth2100 is 3d.

SDL? I did not know

Thanks, that worked, although main menu seems screwed up and game runs slow....

he is mixing names here .. Warzone2100 (os4depot) and Earth 2140 (commercial).

Earth 2140 is not in SDL so now you know which game he tried .

yes this wazp3d stuff is software render stuff so it won't use your gfx card for much more than just show some pixels.


EDIT: i will give it a go and see if it can be speeded up or something.

oops yes I am mixing stuff up! Mainly because I came to install Earth2140 and found that the CD was cracked from the centre to about 1/3 of the way in and DVD drive struggles to read it

Thanks Toaks, do you know when home world port is going to be released? Also have downloaded the UFO:AI game but don't see a way of launching it it just appears to be a bunch of files....
