huh ..must be happy hour at your place ? Linux is secondary and a companion to AmigaOS on the A1s Sams & Pegs. A-Eon's mandate is to develop hardware for AmigaOS.

@klx300r

My intention is not to criticize Trevor, just a friendly invitation to talk about some interesting news about "internal development". We had an invitation from the varysis people to "WATCH THIS SPACE", and i really hope that the A-eon web site long maintenance have something to do with this.

I'd also like to point out that linux on the x1000 is needed to test the h/w, to aid in the development of os4, benchmarks etc.

There is a reason for all things & Trevor is doing his part to help. The x1000 was built to run os4, that hasn't changed.

@AmigaBlitter

I thought something had happened with it. Still there, not much changed then?

@sundown

The good thing about Linux on ppc hardware is that it gives us something to play around with while we wait for new AmigaOS 4.x developments.No more "Pestering the Devs" threads .And the dual core X1000 results have kept certain people in other camps quiet for a while .

In my opinion the new site is quite nice.
I would have done few things differently, some links still don't work and there are some minor bugs, but in the end is OK.

I'm missing the 'Like' button .

True, the old site had a more Amiga like feeling but I think that this site is far easier to navigate for Joe Average.

Glad it's back

It may be a little bland in design aspect, but it's way better than the old one. It's consistent and easy to navigate, a plus.

@djnick

What I like:

* easy to navigate.
* The design is nice, easy to read, black on gray rounded corner looks kind of modern.

Two things that sucks.

* The use of IFRAMS, having to scroll inside a page sucks.
* The page is not dynamic; it does not fill width and height of the browser.

@those who complain

We all know you can do a much better job designing a web page, so give it a rest.

I like the new site, very simple.
