Does anybody know about this company - http://www.relec.ch/frch/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=4&category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2&lang=en ?

I think that design of this computer is just perfect :)

@coriolis
Obviously they got some little webpage problems right now.
That aside:
Two years ago I bought a RedOne, and I can recommend those guys. All just fine!

@Daytona675x

Could you make some photos (front, back, angles, computer on etc)?

@coriolis

Relec has a very good reputation in the amiga community. Also the Red One is probably the best built pre made Sam system imho

@coriolis

Those other cases arent "big", just another look

Ok, they ARE a BIT bigger

Yep, the original "Red One" is out of stock AFAIK. Red one F and X are the new alternatives

@all

Well a new one is coming.
2013: New look THE REDONE X & lower price

Quick and dirty translation.
Very soon Relec will propose a new look (case) to its best configuration "The REDONE X". As a news never come alone, we're very pleased to announce another price reduction.!!!
You'll discover the RED ONE X configuration 1,15GHz (SAM460ex) in a very elegant mini-tower of high quality and modern design.

@Fred_AROS

Other cases bigger more than 15 cm! It is interesting - the cases made by Relec or there is an another place where I can buy Red One case separately :)

@kamelit0

"configuration 1,5GHz"

So, that must be the AmigaOne500+ that was rumored last year.
(or typo 1.15-1.5)

Anyway... info about small performance improvement would allign nicely with 1.5ghz CPU.
(enough for DVD playback without frame skip I believe)

(in my dreams the SoC is also changing to a more modern AMCC/APM chip)

I can't wait to see the new tower case design. I liked the 440 flex Red One but I have not been completely sold on the 460 case design, so I welcome this news of a case redesign.

Relec are very nice Amigans. Ask them anything.

The RedOneX is available.

Well, I could do that but it wouldn't be of much value to you, I guess.
Some months ago I bought this nice SilverStone case here and stuffed everything inside, so my RedOne actually doesn't look like a RedOne anymore.
The original case isn't bad at all, I just liked that SilverStone-case so much

Maybe this is just me but it does every so slightly remind me of the AmigaMcc design with the curved look to the lid.

Good news, eager to get a Sam460 once available again. Will keep an eye out for this new case from Relec.

@Fairdinkem

Relec (not Relic ) has no plan to release a new case for their Red One X system at the moment.
