@fastbit66

I would like to ask if the PCI slot used for Radeon cards, it works for you Warp3D and MiniGL?

@AmigaMania

While its up to seller to answer, both Warp3D and MiniGL should work with this setup.

Hi
As my micro is down now for a couple of months I'm interested in your SAM440 system.

Currently I cant afford much and so your system comes very welcome. Where do you live and what will be the surcharge for sending the system or main components to Europe i.e Netherlands.
What would you charge me for the system Excluding cabinet, hard disk and optical drives.
The 440 is a 17 x 17 mobo iirc and my micro is of the same dimensions so a prpoer case is alteady available. I think of going SSD and have thrrefore no use for a HD and optical drives are so cheap these days that sending them over is not very worthwile. MAYBE you can deploy these redundancies in your next system?

In short I am mostly intetested in mobo and gfx cards.

Regards
Tjitte 'OlFart' de Wolff.

[Off-topic]

Did you ever discover the exact cause? I'm curious since I was gone for 3 months due to a failed Radeon 7000 VE.

"Then you are lost. AFAIK 3D support does not work with "secondary" graphics cards in the Mini-ITX Sams, only with the internal M9 Radeon chip. Maybe you should ask ACube whether it is (or will be) possible one day."

Hyperion support forums wrote that the PCI bus is not supported in 3D. On my machine (SAM440EP MINI-ITX) do not work well ...

My problems (PCI vs Radeon 9200):

Actually I lost interest in the project one could say. I have found and or picked up other pasttimes in the mean time. But alas could not actually stay sway and now I make do with my cellphone which often means wro g spelling of words. The method to deoy for correcting faults is quite substandard so I leave tbem in mostly.
Only last week I made an effort of checking whether the PSU is still properly finctioning
which it is. Either memory or the CPU is malfunctioning. If I could get some mrmory somewhete
i would check that as well and fear the outcome evenmore.

@OldFart

If you have a PC repair shop in your area, you would be surprised what they have lying around to test. Just tell them of the specific memory our machines like and he'll prolly have some in a box. Heh.

I can relate however. My bad part runs a couple of dollars, but would cost hundreds of USD to change and with...no guarantee.

@vox

hi - no warp3d or minigl is - at least by now - not working with this setup.
I don't know if it will become possible in the future.

maybe one can use a pci to pci-e adapter for other gfx cards but I cannot tell you
if this would be an option.

cheers

Argh, sadness, that is a SAM 440EP (non Flex) problem only.
Now I do remember it. So, yes I do stand corrected.

Hope it will be resolved in the future, since there are no obstacles within OS support or the gfx card itself.
