Anyone else get PM'd by Vox?

Hi I am just wondering if Vox sent you a PM or if he just picked me for whatever reason?

I got a message on here and amiga.org with a link to his Anti Commodore USA blog site. A friend request on a.org as well to boot. Needless to say I ignored it all.

I have no opinion either way when it comes to C= USA. To me they are making money trading on the Commodore/Amiga brand but presumably they have paid good money for that opportunity.

Anyway, I just wondered if it was just me as perhaps a singled out potential sympathiser or if Vox messaged thousands of people?

@A1200

Yup... but then I get lot's of PM's form Vox so nothing new there...

Pretty sure Vox only PM's active members who he thinks may be interested in reading his blog about CUSA, suppose he can't get them all right but to the whingers moaning it's "Spam" and a "violation of the TOS" that just an opinion and frankly a load of bollocks when it come to being against the TOS...

One email hardly constitutes someone been victimised or singled out, you should either just ignore it if your not interested or be grateful someone actually bothered to send you a PM to start with (if you don't get many PMs)...

@A1200

I got a PM too. I think Vox should stop worrying so much about what CUSA get upto, or at least see them as enternment rahter than a figure of hate.

They've paid the for the rights to stick the Amiga name on whatever they want. While their pricing and choice of hardware is questionable and a themed Linux may be considered a bit lame they are well within their rights to run their show that way and haven't broken any laws or agreements.

I'm not a big fan of this Anti CUSA site since this kind of bashing is OTT and no better than the Anti Ben Hermans site which quotes things he said many years ago.

@Vox

Please give it a rest. Have you ever considered that behaving this way reflects badly upon yourself and other users of this site.

OTT... don't you think it was OTT that for at least 10 months before CUSA had even produced their C64x let alone an Amiga that is not an Amiga that they spammed these Amiga forums and sites telling us all to "get used to it", "like it or else" and insults, lies and just blatant bullshit...

CUSA dug their own grave as far as most Amiga users are concerned with the crap they pulled on these sites over the last two years, whether you hate them or just don't care about them and what they do, the point is CUSA have alienated most Amiga users with two years of spamming, BS & lies....

Myself I like ripping the piss out of them when they make any announcement that I happen across and would love to see CUSA and Barry Altman go bankrupt just for the crap he and his puppets spammed Amiga sites with in recent times (and still do)...

If you aint bothered one way or the other about CUSA that's fine, just ignore them and anything anyone posts about them but remember not all of us hold the same opinions on this subject as you do, so leave us to have our say on it instead of seeking out threads related to them just to tell us you don't care about the subject...

You think you've got it bad.... I continue to get abusive PMs from Vox.
This is well beyond what one would deem reasonable behavior, even from a critic.

I have had several. I kind of just skimmed over them but I figured they all said the same pretty much. All I know is that he is using snippets of peoples posts and then using them on his blog thing.
