Maybe it's just me, dunno if I've been watching too many conspiracy theory documentaries on the Discovery Channel recently but...

Has anyone else noticed the distinct lack of moderators here on AW.net in recent times... ???

I mean what happened to "ZeroHero" he was always kicking about banning anyone who looked funny or smelled a wee bit...

Then we had all those new mods democratically elected a wee while back and most of whom have now mysteriously vanished without trace...

"Opi"... what happened to him, he would always pop in with some great insults on a regular basis but seems to have become one of the "missing" since becoming a mod...

"AmigaDave"... the man who's sole ambition in life is to ask for nothing more than for us all to get along and live in peace and harmony, he disappeared for a while and only in the past week someone pretending to be him (I reckon) made a post to make it look like he hasn't been bumped off...

Only two that seem to have survived the mass moderator serial killer are "Moxee" & "Darrin" could it be that one of them are behind this mass bump off or maybe they're working together like a modern day Burke & Hare and are selling the bodies to modern day medical science for research into cyborgs, AROS or sumfink...

All seems a bit suspicious to me... I'll bet "Number 6" is the "Mr Big" behind all this as he knows everything that goes on in Amigaland and everything that doesn't, reckon nothing goes on in Amigaland without the word coming from the gawdfather whom really isn't called "Number 6" but is really called "Number 1"...

You can't fool me, I'm onto you, I've got my beady eye on you...

PS: Anyone want to start a bounty to hire a private eye to get to the bottom of this (he doesn't have to have any previous Amiga experience)...

PPS: _Steve_ is still alive and well but he only pops in here when he gets lost looking for old Dr Who videos to buy on the net and so has managed to avoid the mass moderator serial killer...

Or found better things to do with their lives and chose to do those instead. As fun as Amiga can be, I can think of many things I would rather be doing than weed through teen angst in many threads at various Amiga forums.

With the interest levels running at a nominal rate, it could be that self moderation would work after some abuses of the freedom and the flamers getting bored from being ignored/not treated seriously.

We are all mostly still around regularly enough. Some of us are not as prolific at posting than others though

Most of the time, real life tends to get in the way of things, so we all cannot be here as much as we once may have been. However, we still try to stay on top of everything and maintaining some semblance of order.

Don't look at me, I haven't eaten any humans for quite a while now. It's been at least 4 hours.

And I only store them under the floorboards, it's not the same as burying them. I only keep them down there till they ripen.
