Indeed my new (sic!) 15" 1.67 GHz Powerbook has arrived a few weeks ago. It was sold as new - and it actually is. It was not used, but just waited a few years for a new life. Everything is in best condition. It also was a real bargain, IIRC it was about 230 EUR.

Sorry, no video from unboxing and booting. But it is all shiny and just works. It's the 5th ppc based computer in my house now. And my first laptop that will run an Amigaish OS native (had much fun with UAE on x86 mobile devices years ago already).

@Zylesea

Nice!

Hope MorphOS 3.0 will be there soon, but it is certainly worth the wait.

@Zylesea

/me trying to hold myself back untill MOS3 is out for it

(getting PowerBook above 1Ghz is more sane than getting x86 netbook, IMHO)

((I wonder if there has been any internal talks in MOS team to sell their competence to AOS4 crowd via doing Apple HAL for AOS4 (as a paid job). If bounty would be created, I would participate.
MOS itself is going elsewhere anyway... while AOS4 stands solidly on PPC.))

@Zylesea

Have fun with MorphOS running on it. 5,6 or 5,8? Mine are veterans .

@Korni

I was going for the 5.6 version. On first I thought that the more VRAM and the higher screen res of the 5.8 would be a benefit, but for 15" the pixelsize of the 5.6 display is small enough. And for 1280 x 854 px the 64 MB VRAM are rather fine (I use 64 MB VRAM on 1680x1050 and it's fine).
And this particular offer was just too tempting. It's a device not used before and hence sold as new. I need to upgrade RAM though, currently there's 512 MB inside which is okay, but could be more. No need to hurry though.
