looking for stimuli and paradigms for an aros68k iconset i came across this:
http://www.softicons.com/free-icons/computer-icons/yesterday-icons-by-bharath-prabhuswamy/computer-icon
it doesnt exactly fill into what id like to aim at, but still a nice example, pity its just a single one not any set you could make actual use of.

Almost, it's Commodores PC version of the A1000 case, no keyboard bay...

hmm. right. but it would anyway look strange without a keyboard i guess, a bit like having shorts on, seems one of those formal tricks.

Not that obvious to most people since there isn't an Amiga or Commodore logo on it. It's only obvious to antiques like us....you know, us old computer geezers who've been in the computer business since pre-1980.

Most people today wouldn't have a clue what computer they're looking at if you showed them those icons.

cmon, this is an amiga fan site, everybody here will have at least some clue what an amiga does look like;). you know, ive never owned an a1000 as well, could only see images of it in polish newspapers at the time. therefore ive not thought of keyboard bay for instance.

Commodore's PCs wouldn't have the two vertical lines which indicate A1000's slot cover... let's say it's an hybrid

Yeah, you're right about that. Of all the Amigas, the A1000 is still my favorite. I owned one in 1985 and wish that I had held onto it. I sold it in 1988 and moved up to an A2000.
