Sadly not, maybe because at the time the amigfx version was not availible at all .. Eventually we should tell the author to compile a new one with the "correct" version or even better wait a little more once the JIT version will be completed and availible into the amigfx _________________ BACK FOR THE FUTURE

| The amigfx version is also included by default on RunInUAE, so most probably you have it already

I don't know what you mean. amigfx is an option available when you compile it. It's been available for years. Probably since the 90's. It likely came before the SDL version.
Not only that, I just checked EasyUAE. It uses amigfx. http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=emulation/computer/e-uae.lha
Edit: It's in a version of uae from July 1998. Probably goes back even further. amigfx is just graphics.library instead of SDL. Eventually multiple graphics modes were available, and so they had to be given names, and amigfx was the name given to the graphics.library output mode.
Edit2: amigfx is used in Drummond's 0.8.28 OS4 build. Last edited by MickJT on 24-Apr-2013 at 07:13 AM. Last edited by MickJT on 24-Apr-2013 at 07:10 AM. Last edited by MickJT on 24-Apr-2013 at 07:03 AM. Last edited by MickJT on 24-Apr-2013 at 06:58 AM.

Coincidentally, being dissatisfied with the current E-UAE configuration editors, I decided to write my own. It shamelessly (and literally) duplicates the "look and feel" of WinUAE. It should easily configure and launch E-UAE and do things like create hardfiles and manage multiple configurations. It will lack a lot of the functionality of WinUAE (the Amiga version of UAE won't even do all the things the PC version does), but include the things that a typical user, namely me, wants to do. I plan to post it online so anyone can use it "when it's done". _________________ X5000 / microA1(OS4.1 FE U2) / CodeBench / Imagine / Blender Lightwave 2019 / Microsoft Visual C++ |
