| I was going to ask a question here in quite specific regard to "Amiga Emulation"... then I realised... what's the point when it's now fine on this site for people to simply reply to such a question with comments that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic or the question being asked...
Strange how I used to get ARs for being "off topic" and now it's perfectly fine for everyone else to do it and not get AR's...
Oh well... I won't bother then... _________________

Wow, you're going meta. That's usually the final stage. |

Well if i knew how one goes "meta" I could probably give you the answer to that one but as I've no idea how one does go "meta" then sorry I can't actually say if I am or not...
Are there signs that give it away, like spots or warts or something ???_________________

Getting back on topic, what was the question?
And really!? An AR for going OT? Gee was the Amiga communuity small back then and the laws large?
I've also noticed in the last few months that people can swear. When usually I would see swear emulation now I see the real thing. Has the swear ban aso been lifted I wonder? |

| @Franko OK lets talk on topic then.
Amiga Emulation is a great way to run Amiga productivity applications such as ImageFX4 and Photogenics which gain quite a bit from the fast speed of modern x86 CPUs and the large amounts of memory on offer from even quite low end PC's of today.
I also find it a great tool to install games using ipf or adf images for use with WHDLOAD on my Minimig and A1200's.
I also find WinUAE a great way to play games such as Civilization and anything else controlled with a mouse, but any games designed to be played with a joystick seem better when played on hardware solutions such as original Commodore Amiga hardware or FPGA clones such as my Minimig.
So what do other current day Amiga fans think what works best under emulation either with UAE or OS4/MorphOS and what works best with a hardware solution such as A1200 and scandoubler or FPGA clone Amiga? _________________ Sam440ep 667mhz, 512MB, 120GB 2.5" HD, OS4.1FE WinUae 3.0.0, OS 3.9, BB3, Catweasel MkIV Amiga 1200, Blizzard 040/40 (BlizzardPPC 060/200 with SCSI removed at present), mediatorSX pci, Voodoo3, PCI network card os 3.9BB2 4MB Minimig with ARM addon boar |
