MS. PACMAN
MR.DO
TOMB RAIDER
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
And some PLAYSTATION games they made it to the PEESEE but never to the CD32 or AMIGA 1200:(

Greatings to all AMIGANS:)

Erm, one could write an encyclopaedia-long list with this idea.

Since you brought it up though, Magic Carpet.

@AMIGATINO

I could name many (I suppose you mean games that came from other platforms that could be planned for Amiga or even were planned for but never made it to be made, released or completed):

- Inferno
- Resident Evil
- Eye of the Beholder 3
- Late Lucas Arts adventures
- Starquake (that actually came from 8Bit but a great game it was)
- Ultima VII
- ProjectX II (TRAITORS!!!!!)
- 17Th Guest
- Wing Commander II
- Ultima Underworld
- Alone in the Dark

I could continue forever...

Populous: The Beginning. Man, I loved that game - played it and the mission pack to bits on the PC...

Star Wars: Supremacy (or Rebellion, depending on where you live)

If that had come out for the Amiga, I may never have bought a PC.

Elite (First Encounters) III - especially given the PC release was so buggy it made it a chore to play. Need I mention the spin off, made-by-the-community game that was planned and hyped and received so much attention but was doomed to failure?

@AMIGATINO

Back in the day the game I wanted was a port of EA's NHL series from the Mega Drive. I remember it did show up for a couple of months on Amiga Format's list of up and coming games - so at least it seamed like someone had some plans on porting it.

@Thread

Settlers 2 and Theme Hospital were sadly missed! I waited until 2004 to play Theme Hospital on a second hand PC laptop that my dad bought after using it at work and eventually tracked down Settlers 2 for my Apple iBook in 2007. The best comes to those that wait I guess

Actually badgering my family for a PC was never a option. They really were rubbish machines back in the 1990's! Doom and Quake were obviously to be envied until the Amiga got ports, but I couldn't bring myself to actually ask for Widoze 95/98 back in the day!

@BigD

I know what you mean, but I played Star Wars: Supremacy at a friends house and the gigantic Star Wars nerd in me caved completely.

@AMIGATINO

One game that was advertised as coming to Amiga "before" other platforms was the Lawnmower Man. Due to the Commodore bankruptcy, the game ended up on everything but the Amiga. Even if gameplay wasn't great, it would have shown off what the Amiga graphics chips were capable in 1993-94.

@AMIGATINO

Command and Conquer. Given the fact that Westwood did write Dune II, C&C might have been a revival of the Amiga.

I still get slightly p/o'ed when I read PC magazines that say that C&C was the first real time strategy game. It wasn't. If at all, Dune II would be it, but actually, I played a real-time strategy game on the Spectrum. It was called "Stonkers" (great name ).

Napalm is very good too, and it's an Amiga game.

Warcraft2 (ran perfectly on my A1200 AGA on shapeshifter)
Diablo (this one could probably run on a 060 miggy)
Starcraft (this is quite hungry, it would have required a PPC cpu)
