Convince Dino to kickstarter new Kick Off and Player Manager

Dino Dini is the developer behind the original Kick Off, Kick Off 2, Player Manager and GOAL! classic games for Amiga and Atari ST.

He started to make a spiritual successor to these classic games from the 90s, but alas, the project is on hold.
Dino has decided to focus on his musical passion, whilst he still can.
I would like us to continue production of the game using Kickstarter, but I need YOUR help to convince Dino it can be done.

Show your interest in bringing back these great games and convince Dino that there is a market for them!

We have 30 days (until May 15th) to get 3,000 signatures, so please sign it or Like us on facebook if thats your sort of thing. If we get enough funding from kickstarter the game would be released on PC, Mac, Linux/FreeBSD and iOS/Android.

@lionstorm

i read the interview from last year(?) and Dino sounded like he was "Burnt Out" , still do.

As much as i loved KickOff2,PlayerManager its gameplay and style would never have worked in this time and era.

Just look at Sensible Soccer, fantastic games for its time and still is, but as soon it goes "next gen" the game is ruined and in most cases kills the developers.

I feel inclined to agree with that. KO gameplay was brilliant at the time because it was tailored for the Joystick, but the loose ball playability is near impossible with a gamepad or the keyboard.
I think that any attempt at a Kick Off remake for today's market would basically have to be Fifa / PES with an overhead camera view, and that would probably be pointless since it wouldn't be KickOff anymore.

Other than that, I can see some nostalgics (like me) picking up on this, if it kept the traditional gameplay and one could find a decent joystick to play it nowadays.
