I keep trying to play this game and without cheating I can now make it past the first level and into the second stage of the second level. But how could they have ballsed this game up so much?

Did you ever watch the animated series called Code Monkeys? There's an episode about the ET game and the guys have an invite to watch the film but they also have tickets for a strip bar on the same night.
