I finally installed cyrillic fonts and they work fine now. The default subtitles color is yellow, is there any way to change it from the MPlayer gui?

I can't get OSD to work. How exactly to install the fonts? I have some arial font I downloaded for use with MPlayer.
About the subtitle color: You can use the "Additional parameters:" field to fill in extra parameters to MPlayer-GUI. I don't know what the subtitle color parameters are though..._________________ >Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft. >A1-XE/G4, Radeon9250, Sweex 5.1, SII680 -Don't hesitate to contact me about my programs, but please use e-mail instead of PM. In "Paint:Programs/", why?
I put this:
font.desc iso-8859-2-a.raw iso-8859-2-b.raw osd-mplayer-a.raw osd-mplayer-b.raw
in "Paint:Programs/conf/font/". Nothing happens when I press 'o'._________________ >Amiga Classic and OS4 developer for OnyxSoft. >A1-XE/G4, Radeon9250, Sweex 5.1, SII680 -Don't hesitate to contact me about my programs, but please use e-mail instead of PM. Let the record indicate that my AmigaOne played its first mpeg movie last night, using Mplayer and the Mplayer GUI.
Since this is a "Dirty" preview, I got a "Dirty" movie off the internet to try it out. There were people making love on my AmigaOne's screen on Valentines day, how fitting.

OK, I'll give it another try then.
Ah, I checked the file with a hex viewer (DOpus ) and found the string "RV30". According to codecs.conf I'm missing the codec library... Last edited by mwoof on 15-Feb-2005 at 07:19 PM. Last edited by mwoof on 15-Feb-2005 at 07:19 PM.

Can you add a chdir on mplayer executable dir? This because if I have the fonts (or other) installed in another dir, they are not loaded.

I found out that RV20 files play! Seems that the codecs are not in the right directory. But where should they be? The original documentation hardly says anything relevant to Amiga... _________________ And may the AmigaGuide you!

Try other DVDs, I'm not at home now, but i remember that SVCD has a start index number, some SVCDS require to set them to 2 and not 1. Maybe on DVDs is the same, you need to load the correct index. I'm at work now :-/
Do the other files works? mpeg. avi, vob from not encrypted DVDs.... _________________ AmigaNews.it |

If you can select the vob and play it, it is not encrypted. Try an encrypted DVD and check again your device and unit. _________________ AmigaNews.it |

Not sure what you mean. I have the MPlayer exe and gui from the Amiga sites, nothing from the official MPlayer site. So far everything plays well. Aren't the codecs built in the executable itself? |
