@Mikey_C

Sad day, but best of luck with whatever you put your mind to. You've did a lot of good work in the past....and I hope you do just as much in the future!

@Mikey_C

Congrats on your decission. This had to come earlier or later and has a good chance to become a sign for some people and increase forum quality if people won't try to do some stupid things. When OS4 situation will finaly clear up, it'll become even better.

Here's to the Amiga!

Hope this doesn't sound too trite, but the only thing constant is change.
I wasn't here when you started, but I can only imagine that after years of work
here, your life is somehow changed by the experience.
As time passes I hope when you look back on your efforts here that the memories
will mostly be pleasant ones.
Cheers and the very best in all your new endeavors!

(and I expect to see both of you as members here, of course)

@Mikey_C

Very sad to see you step down, you were one of the favourites and no matter how many people around here may disagree with what you say, I think you are a big part of Amigaworld's character

Thanks for all the hard work Mikey, don't be a stranger!
Dropping the mod hat probably frees up the other hand tied behind your back, so to speak.

Have some fun for awhile.

Everything always goes better with
new hardware or an OS update.

@MIkey and Mike

Amigaworld is closing in on 4500 members now and that's about 10X more then when I joined here. I know you two helped make it what it is today and I thank you for all your efforts.

Mikey_C will you still be on Amigaworld radio, I hope?

@MIkey and Mike

Sorry to see you go as a Mod. I hope you won't be leaving AW completely !
Mickey, I shall see you at 3-Cag in 12 days !

@Thread,
It looks like a lot of Mods start posting a lot less once they become Mods (names like Coder, Bodie_CI5, YO come to mind...)
... And out of 33 posts... ONE (unsurprising) negative post !

@Seehund
Are you planning to become a Mod... That would be something... Interresting !

Jerry

Goodbye and have a rest Mikey. Reading web forums can be a stressing hobby, and acting as moderator is even more stressing. This will let you more free time to enjoy your amiga, your family and other hobbies. It's incredible the amount of time that reading web forums can take.

Good luck in your future projects!

You won't left this forum or irc as you love amigaos so I won't say good bye but see you!
