Free speech has nothing to do with beeing rude or saying stuff just to get some attention, it only degenerates the thread...and the amount of such in here is disqusting to say the least.
Its our friends, partners and contractors that is beeing backstabbed / lied / degenerated ..not just some "company" or "companies".
BUt ofcourse , this is a good time to make such remarks so that every developer and company that is innvolved in os4 will leave.

Too bad this is the thruth. You cant hide it anymore, especially when you see how many people they cheated and now they are in again, now for killing Os4.
This what will happen if Amiga Inc. wins, who will continue to develop it ? |

Agreed, take the personal vendetta's to PM if you want. I see a few things that could be considered TOS violations but most are smaller personal insults.
@All
Feel free make an AR and perhaps a PM to me or another mod with an explanation on why it should be moderated. I may have missed some but I haven't seen anything serious. _________________ ~ Everything you say will be misquoted and used against you.. ~ |

Can anyone confirm this is true?
If so, this has got be the last nail in the Amiga coffin. Just what are Amiga Inc playing at? |

I think this is one of the most sensible things that has been said all thread.
I see a lot of people siding with one of the two parties involved in the proceedings, but to be frank, none of us know the full details. Each account is tainted by personal opinion and it is the court's place to decide what is the truth and what course of action should be taken.
Regardless, what is important here is that we remain impartial. We aren't the judges.Last edited by nine on 30-Apr-2007 at 06:12 PM.

| I really hope that the Judge that gets this case also investigates the forums like this one to get a better idea of what is going on.

Indeed. Took me a while to find the Fleecy pdf file with this stuff in it.
The definition of Target Hardware seems more beneficial to we the users: [quote]"Target-Hardware" means the PPC based hardware developed and marketed for the Amiga platform including but not limited to the hardware developed and marketed by Phase 5, DCE and the AmigaOne hardware developed by Escena under contract with the AmigaOne partners.{/quote]
That "but not limited to" part is the bit I find interesting. This term seems to be used in relation to the "standalone version", which we haven't seen much of yet._________________ All glory to the Hypnotoad! |

I think it was blatantly obvious to the rest of us that nicholas is one of the last few sad individuals trying to keep the old Red vs Blue thing alive. His comments come as no surprise to me. |
oh! Come on! I think the Blues have a right to gloat just a little. I say this as a long time red! He is being pretty civil about it! Don't spoil his fun.

Why do you think people should belive you ? When you team up with criminals like this, ofcourse you will also get a bad word. |
Hardly! Those court documents make it look like ACK made a pretty good choice!
Hyperion look like they were totally stupid! Can you imagine working on an OS for 5 years with a $25k buy back clause. Thats about 2 months work for a mediocre .net c# programmer here in Blighty. How ridiculous! And then 'blackmailing' Amiga Inc for $8000 here and $2000 there - how pathetic and bizarre. Why didn't they then do a real job and forget about their self inflicted OS4 debacle. 3 months contracting somewhere else and they could have put it all behind them and kept Amiga Inc's good will as a punt against (unlikely) future runaway success!
The OS4 site disappearing makes a whole lot of sense! |

actually that is not the judges job. iirc judges & juries are not allowed to even look at anything other than what the defense and plaintiff present as the facts._________________ Win•dows: n.
