good question. he did say mid mayish ? so a week more I think then it is time to start asking questions.....
Does anyone even know who are considered to be developers by ack & amiga?
Hey, I develop a perl/mysql database front end, about 9k lines of code at this moment... will I get one ? _________________ Yes I own an Amiga. A non-upgraded A500 that is unpacked once every 3 years.

Another interesting question could be: for what OS? With the current situation nothing is clear

well I reckon it will run some version of linux for starters. As soon as there is a verdict (does anybody have any idea as to how long that will take? tigger, you seem to have at least seen similar situations before. So, months or even years? ) things might start to change. Last edited by Insanity on 15-May-2007 at 10:51 AM.

Hey, I'm in a simmilar kind of league: developing a ARexx script that when run informs you that its developement is 'Right on schedule and rockin''. Nearly 5 lines of code! Would that qualify me as a developer of some higher order?

hey, your script might run on an amiga so I guess I will have to bow out to you unless linux counts _________________ Yes I own an Amiga. A non-upgraded A500 that is unpacked once every 3 years.

@all I think we should be silent and tolerant until June 1:st. If there is nothing by then. well... let's discuss that then. _________________ Yes I own an Amiga. A non-upgraded A500 that is unpacked once every 3 years.

We all know that nothing will happen even after June 1st. That's why we've started the discussion now in anticipation of that.

Yea, probably. I mean, would you spend like 8k on a dev board to satisfy a vapor deal with Amiga Inc? I know I wouldn't. _________________
