Hello,

since the next update will allow BOH to run on Linux, can anybody please test the Linux demo (available on the DOWNLOADS page as usual)?
Moreover, also the other demos have been updated to let everybody check out the new features.

Thanks.

Hi everybody,

I just wanted to inform those who might be interested that the developer's manual to create missions, themes and translations for BOH has been finished. As usual, it can be downloaded from the DOWNLOADS page of the website.

Have fun!

Hello!

I'm back with yet another little piece of news: I've ported BOH to AROS, so now the demo is available for download from the DOWNLOADS page of the website.
Please note that:
* this is only the initial port only;
* the menu music reportedly stutters - maybe an issue with SDL_mixer?;
* the full game isn't available yet.
The reason why I'm not releasing the full game yet is precisely because of the music problem - other than that, the game works just fine. If you try the demo, please let me know how it works for you - it's the reason why I've released it

... and have fun!

@saimo

Simone, it's great that BOH can be played now even on AROS. Great news.

Well, because of countless problems with drives and HDs, actually I'm working under VMware as well, so I know it's OK there... but audio is not supported. Also, the live CD here doesn't help as AROS won't recognize my audio hardware, so I need others to check it out (deadwood, f.ex., reports music stuttering).

I'm sorry to say that a MorphOS port is not planned for the simple reason that:
* I don't have a MorphOS machine;
* I don't have the money to buy a MorphOS machine;
* I don't have room for yet another machine here.
Borrowing a machine (somebody already kindly offered his) isn't a good solution because of the last reason above and, more importantly, because I wouldn't need it just for the porting, but also for the future support (which means I'd need it for an indefinite amount of time).

@who likes secrets

Easter is coming and - guess what - there are two Easter eggs hidden in BOH but nobody found them yet... who will be the first?
(If nobody manages to discover them and anybody is interested, I'll reveal them on Easter.)
