As long as this means a software called notebook, it could be possible ...

It has to be a plane ! (Hyperion working with Smiths Aerospace LLC.)

My personal guess is 12 months at least. (Hopefully we will hear something in next 6 months. I hope in next couple of weeks.

Edit: What about you going away from this forum, will you, if you have really nothing else to say !? Or edit your post and remove some not nice words from it ?!

Maybe they're putting AOS4 into a cloud.

@bernd_afa

And yet if that is not bad mouthing about AOS4 and Hyperion I don't know what it is ! If i were a little bit more harsh I would even call this (permanent and repeated) trolling...

The "ambitious project" is not shadows, or icons, or any incremental upgrade in existing functionality to OS4.1, of that I am sure.

I have a very good idea what it is, but it would not be right to spoil the surprise.

@All People waiting for a big leap ....

To be honest, all the official statements from Hyperion about porting the OS to other PPC hardware are still the same. So I would be totally surprised to see a Mac or PS3 port ... and ports to other CPUs with different byte ordering, seems not possible ...

So Bernd seems to be more right than most people think. It is a known fact Hyperion are working on a GUI with some more eye candy. With some luck you might get some real useful enhancements, an integrated file manager or a better Docky tool for example ...
