I remember that in a (relatively) recent past someone from Hyperion (maybe HyperionMP) praise the 4080 somewhere in one of the threads talking about the uncertain future for powerPC.

@Johan

If they use AJA Xena, we should see Video toaster -kind of SW package.
Perhaps newtek is also in co-operation???

other...
Giantkiller is a name of the CPU loading process.
I bet xena has killed some giant.
But has Titan been a giant in some ancient mythology?

That is correct, you can't.
I could delete them, but not without taking the child posts with it, so guess I better not.

What you can do however, is to edit them.

@Rogue

Is X such an important and unexpected element to develop this puzzle?

No one after near one thousand posts discovered X
meaning yet.

Are you planning legacy support for 68K,
or a new system from scratch without something
like Petunia?

Is Hyperion going to attend some big electronics show?

Cheers

I'd also say it's a tower case.

I hope there is some kind of shiny notebook on the horizon as well though.

Some hot chick sitting in Starbucks with her shiny new 15" Amiga notebook is what i would really call a 'most ambitious goal'...

@Alkaron
If this teaser ends with a "pre-order your AmigaOne Xena(?) with OS5.0 on Amiga.com" I will run away screaming

There has been no mention of Amiga or any stuff that is not covered by the recent license agreement (boing logo, AmigaOne, AmigaOS etc.) I think it's safe to assume that Amiga Inc is 100% out of the picture.

Just to practice my translation skills. I think I got the gist, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I'm sort of rolling with English figures of speech than directly translating.

Just to clarify, ACube is not involved in this project, that launched in April 2009 behind which are involved Trevor, Tony and Ben, who founded A-Eon (I think there is a PDF on AW). Naturally we knew what was going on (not everything but I think a good 80-90%). I hope in the coming days Hyperion will release all the information, and ALL it's intentions, complete data for release and above all the price, in a fashion that will not create general problems in the Amiga market in which we are always waiting to buy in the hope of something better, resulting in a halt in further development. As for the update, it would seem Massimo has done miracles, and we hope there will be little wait for this beneficial update.
