Still can not see the dates on the left of the screen on a 1024/768 screen.

Good timing!

I take my X1000 to our monthly Amiga meeting tomorrow evening with a pointed showing of the Wiggle executable, its source code, and showing how the program runs by its lonesome as I put the X1000 through a soft reboot.

Cool stuff.

It's nothing to do with screen size... Same problem on the iPad. Probably a CSS issue with web kit or something.

Anyway this is brill news. I liked the bit about fixing bugs he himself had filled

Not screen size but window size

It'll be down to the css trick used to place the date tab to the left of tha main content whilst keep the main content centered. The ideabreak when the main content is smaller than or the same size as the window. ie about 1024 pixels wide.

While waiting for official info ... it seems that Gallium3D runs already on x1000, but only in SW render mode. (source: core developer post at amigans.net)

Wazp3D is compatible with existing Warp3D software and Gallium3D brings access to more modern hardware features not supported by Warp3D.
Since there won't be Warp3D drivers for the RadeonHD cards Wazp3D could be adapted to be used as a wrapper to hardware accelerate Warp3D software via the Gallium drivers.

Your statement are not true, Rogue never said that Gallium exists only in software mode, he only said that even in software mode the performance give a better result compared to that hypothesized by afxgroup ..

In addition afxgroup didn't talking about Gallium at all

@samo79

Ok, thanks for clarification.

(so... perhaps even HW accelerated Gallium exists ... AmiWest will be interesting!)

Well, to be accurate my link was to the Hyperion parent site and NOT the Hyperion blog which ssolie writes. So perhaps OS4 team isn't even aware, since I don't see the same press release there.
