Chicks really dig the shirt. Go to your local Amiga show and you will have to fight the women off!

What do you convince yourself? What you earn on it?

Is it not better to say "good luck" to a company that you might collaborate with in the future?

Why should it be vapor? Have you seen the production video? What use of
getting molds done then? Its vapor as much as OS4 is vapor.
Btw. cant wait for the x1000 to come out and be sold in less than 100 pieces.
Perhaps than you will open your eyes.

No use of trying to explain them. I can bet that one day as C= grows and gets all
Amiga licenses , he will be the major C= screamer around these places yelling:
"Go on C=, you rock!"

Dammy doesn't work for Commodore USA, LLC anymore than you work for A-Eon.

There are people on AWN that will never deal with C=USA regardless what happens in the future. Which I may find quiet funny in the future.

He is in their house. Maybe the first thing Barry should buy is a new broom.

Whoaaa. This is confusing. When I read this it clearly sounds like someone is saying to speak positively and NOT shut any doors/burn any bridges.

but...but...the post just above that one he says:

Quote:
Btw. cant wait for the x1000 to come out and be sold in less than 100 pieces.

So...that translates out to:

"Say something nice or don't say anything at all...but don't expect ME to follow my own advice."

Like erm...wow.

I can't comment on the Tron / Disney deal but between the website(s), production video, etc. someone is going through a lot of trouble for nothing if this is vapourware.

Even more so with that video of the C64x case bottom section going into pre-production. Molds are not cheap and as you saw in the video, that's a huge mold costing significant amount of money. So if you see in the near future a C=USA video of the full production line of the C64x being made, will that be enough proof for you that this is a real product?

Hahaha!

But seriously, I have been in Barry's house (once) and shown much of what Dammy has seen. It just happens that I am very local and Dammy is relatively local. If other people were local, they probably would have been invited over too. I do not work for Commodore USA either. I just went from being negative to being neutral.

I will say that despite what some of you guys think, CUSA is for real. The Disney partnership and assembly line video is just the start. I wouldn't so quick to condemn CUSA to hell. Just sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Even that is a positive move. I am more than sure that this time all Amiga licenses
are going under the same roof.
Commodores roof!

laughable mate! it's not about sales - it's about substance! BeagleBoard IS exactly about being open-source ARM - it's about technology, OS & whatever you consider a hobby and there is specific philosophy behind it - something that glitter-sticker-lovers won't understand. period.

P.S. I will give you advice - go get 'Colossus' brand, put x86 inside its flesh and sell it to some sentimental oldtimers ;) sadly i don't have the funds to pursue that idea.

The "production" video ? With this kind of "production" they'll have a hard time meeting the demand ;)

This looks like real production: http://download.abandonware.org/magazines/Amiga%20News/amiganews_numero84/Amiga%20News%20084%20-%20Page%20009%20(1995-11).jpg

Several people working, dozens of motherboard being tested and integrated into cases...

(That was the production of Amiga 1200 by Escom back in 1995. And it's the last time I saw a company "producing" Amigas...)

Makes me think of the Obama birthers - Conspiracy theories never die. Even visual, auditory and physical proof gets itself forensically analyzed and it's authenticity or even it's very existance questionned.
