Even more strange I never even saw Franko post much about CUSA. I saw his Commodore Scotland banner of course, but really only saw him talked about how the Workbench disks should be available for download for real hardware, which I agree with. Never saw him really post about CUSA one way or the other though, other then the joke Scotland thing like I said. I don't really see how he created advertising one way or the other for CUSA. Put then I never really followed his posts or anything.

He used to post quite a lot on A.org basically ripping the #### out of them and all their supporters, including making youtube videos like this

http://youtu.be/dU94T6KZnSg

and having all out personal flame-wars with CUSA supporters such as Dammy, they were never positive though, just saying they're not the true Commodore and they're a bunch of con-men, odd advertising strategy.

Such as this comment from him

"Well if you did know all about it then you would know that CUSAs CTO Leo and their unpaid mouthpiece Dammy have been spamming the Amiga forums for months now telling real Commodore enthusiasts to like it or lump it with there new PC/C64/Amiga emulators and that they are only in it for the money and that real Commodore users don't mean a thing to them..."

"Do yourself a favour and get a C64 emulator for your PC or Mac or buy a real one from ebay and enjoy the feeling of not getting conned"

@danwood

Oi... if your gonna quote me you could at least get it right...

Quote:- "Why not just buy yourself a C64 emulator for your PC or MAC or get an old genuine second hand C64 from eBay... Save yourself a lot of dosh and not having that feeling you've been conned... :)"

Gawd knows I pay me writers enough dosh to come up with this crap so the least you could do is get it right when you quote it...

That might not be the best example, since Barry and other family members were victims of Bernard Madoff.

From amiga.org:

"While I found this forum to be incredibly fun and interesting and very useful to an Amiga User like myselef. the rest of the net was no more than I had thought it to be (ie: boring and full of nutters). The one thing I didn't expect to find though was all the good friends I made along the way with whom I'll stay in touch with via email as long as I keep the on net."

so I assume we won't be seeing you on the net at all after the 29'th right ...funny thing making up bs isn't it

@klx300r

Yup after the 29th you can have the boring place called the net back...

Too many clueless numpties on it who seem more obsessed with speculation about me and the keech I write...

Which is odd really as you'd think folk would actually use it for something useful... but noooo, seems all some folk have to to with their time is come up with wild theories about who is at the other end of the drivel they read...

Like Magnetic he's still rattling his gums about me over on A.org right now, going on as usual about how he never want's to hear the name "Franko" again. Guess that guy really is as dumb as I thought...

Strange place the net, full of even stranger people...

Gawd... some of you guys take all the pointless stuff in life too seriously on these forums...

If you give a daft answer you get a daft reply...

I may be amongst some of the biggest Amiga fans around and enjoy a good debate or argument about it but it's not the be all and end all of everything in life... (music is ).

Lighten up and take things like your health & family seriously, not some 25 year old computer and silly online arguments/ debates about whether it's dead or not and do it with a sense of humour...

After all if the Amiga hadn't come along we would all be on PC or MAC forums moaning about them and wishing someone would invent the best home computer ever conceived which lucky for us the Amiga was (and still is, in my case)...

Well as this site is mainly aimed at OS4.x users there was no need to go "fishing" seemed perfectly logical that the chances of you being a OS4.x user were quite high...

Plus the "meh" was a dead give away...

PS: stop using silly wee made up words like "troll" they really make you come across as much more dafter than you are...

i know you're not the type to 'turn the cheek' but I know you know that you pushed the insult/ troll button on that last comment and there's nothing funny about that..so why not make a funny thread about your squirrels or something instead of making insulting comments to a specific group here

Although you self-admittedly only started using the net a short while ago surely you must realize by now that there is a certain etiquette to conducting yourself on it (just like in real life)

Sigh... I see you really are humourless then...

There is no such thing as "internet Etiquette" that's just BS for folk who can't handle real life...

Put it this way, if you lived in the real world where I do, you would have to go around wearing ear plugs for the rest of your life, cos you sure as heck wouldn't last more than a minute if you lived here...

I've stood in front of magistrates in courts who have called me far worse and used much more foul language than anything I've said here, some of you folk need to leave the pram and dare to venture out into society, it may be shocking to your delicate wee systems but you'll soon get over it and realise that it aint so bad after all...

I think you hit the nail on the head there Franko; there are far, far more important things that an old computer system...

True, I keep an eye on the goings on in the Amiga world - it's good to keep a few hobbies on the go, but to get offended, upset or riled about other people's posts is pointless...

I could call Franko a loopy old git, and I'm sure he'd respond with something equally biting

But it wouldn't bother me, in fact I'd have a quiet chuckle and fire back another witty retort...

Get over it, get a grip and look at what's happening in the REAL world...

Life is too short...

Peace.

Mike.

heck Frank, you remind me of a slow kid on my block as a child, he had a good heart but said stupid and offensive things some times. Now the kids that understood his situation let him go on BUT there were other kids that didn't take too kindly to his antics

well i tried...now run along and play mate & say hi to the squirrels for me

btw, thanks for the help & the laughs over at amiga.org before things eventually got out of hand there..best of luck to you once your experiment with the net is officially over
