Because after so many lies from CUSA it would prove that this is an actual product and they actually do have sales, I'm still not wholly convinced the whole thing isn't a hoax/fantasy. |
Ok but, as I wrote:
Quote:
When CUSA will have concrete proof it has shipped 10,000 machines, will that change the community's opinion that they're not contributing in any way? No. When they'll have shipped 1,000,000 machines? Neither. |
Again: why do you care about unboxing videos, receipts scans, live in-flesh Barry knocking at your door and putting a C64x box in your hands. Won't change anything at all. |

Because many of us suspect them to be a hoax to be honest, and their biggest fanboys always keep rubbing in the "fact" that
"CUSA are shipping *dancing banananasssss!!!* where's x1000 now loooool!"
Or words to that effect, I'm personally highly sceptical anything has shipped based on their past lies. Last edited by danwood on 05-Jul-2011 at 01:45 PM.

Any proof of an actual product would be enough, so far I've just seen some photos from an apparent warehouse, some of which have been proven to be faked. I agree, a review in a magazine (or even a blog/photos/unbox) would at least prove once and for all they are a legitimate company and do have a real product. |

Ok but - again ... again - suppose they actually ship. In tens. Then hundreds. Then thousands.
Does it change anything about the profile of the company the way it's currently perceived by the Amiga community? |

2nd q/a scheduled
Quote:
| All US deliveries are being made through the USPS, Domestic: 3 DAY PRIORITY, AND ALL NON-US DELIVERIES ARE BEING SENT USPS PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL. |
I could have sworn all the posters have been asking about UPS tracking. USPS is not UPS.
Somewhat on-topic: I see a problem in posters trying to link to info on commodore-amiga.org too. Even when the link is made to a direct post and not a page, it's showing the wrong page, when posts are deleted. Here's an example when Dammy tried to link to the C=USA Marketing fellow: actual post is on prior page
@Dammy
If you intend to link to an official marketing person for C=USA and your link instead goes to Franko's posts, erm...then the CMS needs a tune up, no?

I'm sure most of us will still think they're a bunch of amateuristic assholes, but personally I will believe they're a "real company" rather than a continuation of Amiga Inc "Just 2 weeks away!!" and nothing ever materialises. Shipping something is the difference between a real legit company or elaborate lies for ego and delusion (see McBill). |

For Vox the C64x will still be a hoax since his definition of a hoax is a bit skewed...errr...I mean different:

Not really, all that is shown there is a box. Might just be a few bricks inside.
That could also be the brother of Barry for all we know.
Might even be and old picture of someone with the original C64.
More will need to be done before the hoax theories die away, lol.

I never doubted the C64x for a moment.
We've known that it exists for weeks.
The C64x is here. Why all the doubts? We saw the photos of the place where they are assembled ages ago.

OUCH! I just gloss over his rants as they are too long winded and repetative for me, but this quote certainly is funny. If that is his idea of a hoax, he must really hate the AmigaOne/OS4 (see Escena, H&P etc)_________________ Power Mac G4 "Quicksilver 2002" 800Mhz, 1.5GB RAM, Radeon 8500 MorphOS 2.7 (Registered) $225 total spent! |

Short notice: I&I claim "Commodore" "Amiga" (actually CUS Amiga) is quite more a hoax while C64x is rebranded Phoenix.
Please do not mention I&I in CUSA threads. Respected. Happy unboxing of twice overpriced integrated board_________________ AF 2012, Hollywood Designer 5, AmigaOS 3.5,4.0 and 4.1 registered user, user of Linux Mint 13 Roots Taking Over The World |
