Great to see more pic, even if they are just the five test boards. Its a shame about the delay of this project, I kinda half wish I got a Sam440/60 now because the wait is annoying me, but it has allowed me to save up quite a sum of money hopeful enough to get one now, and I think we should have a much more developed OS4 by then so I think it better this project takes it time to get it right, I just hope when the time comes it can re-gain some of the momentum it had this time last year.

On exec.pl, there is few more (looks like new?) photos. Seems its going to betatester at last:

As author of Addslideshow-Plugin let me confirm this:

The photos on exec.pl were taken from Slideshow Builder/Addslideshow-Plugin Package. The images were NOT taken by me, I just were the guy who was allowed to use them as "easteregg" (quoted from AN.de). I am not sure wether the guy on the photo is an "A-Eon Betatester", I rather stick to what eliyahu guessed, it is an offices at Varisys. First image was just a cut out of second image. So I myself do not have a betaboard... as I am not into betatestprogram.
If you look at the actual slideshow example inside Addslideshowpackage you will gain this information by reading the subtitles.

Anyhow, I hope betaboards will stil be shipped soon !

@all
Just some more infos about those images, and some speculation:

Images 1,2,4 and 5 (see images above) were taken on the 23rd of May 2011 using a Canon IXUS 750, seems like testing started at 15:02 and AmigaOS was booted on 16:34. However the 2nd image was taken on 1st of June 2011 using a mobilephone Camera (LG KU990i). As you can see an AmigaOne Keyboard and mouse attached, it seems not to be at the Varisys office any more....
Anybody knows who uses a LG Phone from the guys in the "inner circle" ? So it might still be, that one of the five boards already had been shipped to somebody involved into betatesting....

This information was taken from original EXIF Header, which implies that the cameras used where set to correct date and time though !

According to the latest issue of Amiga Future (where you can find a rely interesting article/status-report about the AOne X1000) the Betatest-boards are already in production/shipped.

Can anyone (Trevor?) confirm this?

Yes, my AF arrived yesterday. Austria isn´t so far away from Germany, so my copy of AF arrived always fast (and being an editor for the AF may help, too )

@kas1e

A new revision, and as you say it is tested on the picture, and i suppose that the best tests can be done in linux.

The picture shows NOT that the board has faults or that it can't run OS4.1.

Its public knowledge that the beta bds are being built, do you really think Varisys is stupid enough NOT to test them?

Varisys does NOT test with os4, they use linux to do real h/w testing.

Please, don't cry and do not start to explain basic thinks . It was just ritorical comment which mean "its all take so long, and still photos with linux testing , and dunno if you all will have x1000 even in the next year". Go back to moobunny, and i will say all the truth :)
