yes, the raft is x1k. doest it even look like one?
the problem is the vessel itself isnt going to sail again. its stuck there for fifteen years now, the bottom is rotten, its full of water and it has got no sails nor takelage.
sometimes it trembles a little when a bigger wave hits it, but thats all. it wont move.

and the raft is too small for all of us. looks like only the first class passangers will get on board provided it stays afloat. even if there is another smaller one, the name of samantha this will not make any much difference.

in a situation like this everybody onboard has to get motivated and engaged seing how their work carries fruits, instead of getting locked away in some closet. besides everybody has to trust in those who claim leadership. id like ti err but i dont see it happening just now.

ah, to complete the picture i forgot to mention, that on the other side of the wreck some people craft another raft called "natami". and someone sails by on a barrel painted with "fpga arcade" on its side. they do not claim to be able to restore the ship, though.

but there has to be some link to actual situation, captain aros is neither obsessed nor anybody onboard of his pequod doomed to follow great a1. none of them cares a fart. trust me, nobody there even talks about it. i am not a good example, since i am with classics..

wrong assumption, im of many worlds. the only amiga alternative i have not tried is morphos. and im certainly not an enemy of os4, im just not seeing any saviour coming this way.

you *see* those that tell unpleasant things (that migh be true) as destroyers and that is *your* problem, especially there *are* unpleasant things to say. i have no agenda against os4. if you want to see my pleasant and positive side, then come over to aros, where i try to help out. my choice was based on openness and my opinion of future pespective, even though aros currently interests me only in its 68k flavour.

Fair enough, but you won't see me putting down AROS or MorphOS, I let those that cater to another OS alone to enjoy their choice. We all know our OS of choice have their flaws & you must know you will get a negative reaction from the os4 users. We don't need to be told on a daily basis that os4 isn't perfect, we know its not.

perhaps that is due to that aros people do know the unpleasant facts about their os well enough themselves. and that there is practically no "blind" followers, if we can talk about *any* followers at all, apart of developers themselves.
ive had *once* a nervous reaction on my criticism from toni willen, just once, some sarcastic comments and since then there is only technical talk. no emotions. no poetry.
and of course no os4 users interfere, you know why? since they are not interested. so see the positive side, people like me, contrary to aros devs, have not completely given up on os4 just yet.

Good to know. I started with a micro & os4 update 1, I can tell you, those days would make me agree with the nay sayers about os4.
OS4 has come a long ways since & the trip is far from over for improvments.

The boot screen is very nice though. Really cool to have graphics for boot screen, hopefully they can be customized somehow.

Yes I hope so too because I tend to stare at the uboot screen for several hours so now I change the colours every time I turn my A1 on. I wish I had that feature for BIOS on my PC or my PowerMac. I actually stare for so long that I rarely ever boot to see the OS.
